This will be my LAST year of university! For those who are in the middle, beginning or even the end of their degree, it’s really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel until it’s finally happening. Now that I can finally see that light – its time to focus on whats next.
But until then..I am in the same boat as everyone else dealing with the back to school blues. Summer is ending, the leaves are falling, and as much as I love fall and a good knit sweater, who isn’t sad about heading back to school? So I thought I would put together a look book of some great autumn items that can brighten up your fall and make heading back to school a little less horrible.
Okay – so this bag. Amazing. Its HUGE and able to carry all those important items you need to bring when spending the entire day at Uni. Laptop, snacks, notebook, day planner (obviously), this bag has room for it all. Also – Topshop has amazing back to school wears as well so this is one to check out!
Any person reading this blog will come to learn that I am obsessed with day planners. This one blew my damn mind. Seriously, this. planner. is. everything. From erincondren.com, it comes with tons of personalized details so you can completely make it your own. The planner also includes tons of fun stickers to remind you of birthdays, important dates, or you can create whatever ones you like! My friend Tess introduced me to this planner and I will never look back! A necessity for back to school 2015.
Looking for that perfect large oversized knit for this fall? Stop the search! Yes I’ll admit – this sweater does scream “grandma chic”. HOWEVER! It is one of the coziest fall essentials I own. This piece has quickly become a new favourite in my closet and I am so excited to put it on for those crisp fall mornings. Urban Outfitters also has lots of other great fall knits that would make the perfect addition to anyones fall wardrobe.
Alright so these little sticks seriously changed my makeup game. In New York I went to SIX different Sephoras before I finally found these little guys at Bloomingdales. Lucky for us, we can also order them online (link attached through photo). These sticks are so light weight and add that perfect little touch for when you’re wanting a more natural look for everyday wear. My personal favourites? The Light 2 concealer and the Love lip and cheek pencil (which I use for cheeks). Having sensitive skin, I can be very cautious about what products I use, but this is forsure a keeper!
These are some of my 2015 fall back to school essentials – what are yours?!
