One Thing a Day

Hi guys!

So usually I am not really into the whole sappy blog, sappy Instagrams, ect ect. But I read something on an Instagram I follow that really resonated with me so I’m going to share it with you.

Do one thing a day that is completely and 100% only for you.

It seems simple right?

How often do we get so caught up in everything around us that we sometimes forget to make a little time just for us.

We live in a world now that is so consumed by technology and knowing what everyone else is doing that sometimes it’s really nice to just remind yourself that your relationship with yourself is the most important.

2015 was a year that especially made me realize this.

I was so busy trying to find ways to make everyone else around me happy, that I completely forgot what made me happy. In realizing this I have been able to start to enjoy things that are completely for me again.

Sometimes it is OKAY to be a tiny bit selfish. Insane right?

So take a nap, read a chapter of a book, workout, get a blowout, get a pedicure, eat gluten free waffles in bed like I did today, meditate, talk to your mom, go on a walk, eat a treat. Do something today that is going to make you feel great and really take a step back from all the craziness around you.
